P4 P1 Ex 1 – Drawing fabric using line and tone

Shadows and highlights, particularly when using charcoal, seem to create the depth of the folds of fabric. When using pen or pencil, shading and highlighting also has this effect but shaping the marks to match the fold’s curve might work.
